FAQ
What should I write in the short description of my castle?
The short description appears in search and browse results. Make it interesting and gripping so visitors want to open your full listing.
Someone has already added the manor I own or manage. How do I take control?
Open the castle page and use Claim ownership. After you submit a claim, our team reviews it and can assign the listing to your account. You can also email info@castlebook.com if you need help.
Why should I add my manor or castle to Castlebook?
Castlebook gathers information about castles and manors in one place. Listing your property helps you reach people who care about heritage — and you can promote tours, events, stays, and other services to that audience.
How do I list my castle?
Create an owner account, open Listings in your dashboard, and add a new castle. Save your content, then publish when photos and story requirements are complete.
Is listing free?
Yes — registering and publishing a basic listing is free. Commercial contact details, services blocks, for-sale posting, and sponsored highlights are optional paid products. See Services & fees for current prices.
How do inquiries work?
Visitors submit event or stay inquiries from a castle page. We notify the listing owner by email so you can respond directly.
Can I edit my listing after publishing?
Yes. Open Edit listing in your dashboard. Changes appear on the public page after you save.
How are reviews handled?
Signed-in visitors can rate castles across condition, atmosphere, accessibility, and amenities. The overall score is an average of visitor reviews.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Use Manage billing in your owner dashboard to open the Stripe customer portal and cancel renewal.
